Red Chair by Deschutes Brewing. Eh. I was not a huge fan of this due to its dominating bitterness. The smile is a by-product of inebriation after a long day at school. I won't buy it again..Pale Ales are just not my thing. But I'll always give them a try just in case one changes my mind!
Session Lager....listed in Maxim magazine as one of their top picks for "light beer"...even though it's not labeled as "light". Very easy to drink, indeed.
Lawnmower Lager. The label said..."This beer is yellow, fizzy, and clearly meant for washing dirt out of your mouth after mowing the lawn." Okay...so I wasn't mowing the lawn, but vacuuming is pretty similar! Easy to drink, but nothing out of the ordinary as far as Lagers go.
Gold Digger by SOB (Southern Oregon Brewing) ...interesting beer...I normally love Lagers, but this one had citrus noted that I just wasn't sure I was in love with. The husband bought it for me, but no worries - he wasn't implying anything for if I WERE a gold digger, I wouldn't have married him ;)
Widmer Seasonal Ale...Brrr! The beer says it all! When the weather outside is frightful...drink a beer! Just, this was NOT my cup of tea...er, uh, MUG OF BEER...too bitter. Such as shame, as I usually LOVE Widmer Brother's offerings! Maybe with time, my taste buds will mature and become accustomed to heavily hopped brews...
