New Belgium Fat Tire

New Belgium Fat Tire (didn't there used to be a bike on the bottle??)...it wasn't as nasty as I remembered, but then again, I've come a long way since my light beer loving days! Pleasantly toasty and equally tasty!

Double Take Brewing Company's India Pale Ale

Tim bought this for me, certain I hadn't tried it yet. CORRECT my love...'tis a new brew for your beer wench ;P Double Take Brewing Company's India Pale Ale...it wasn't as bitter as some of the other IPAs, and it even had a sweet note upon first sip. But it was good!

McTarnahan's Brewing Company Summer Grifter India Pale Ale

McTarnahan's Brewing Company out of Portland...their Summer Grifter India Pale Ale...ummmmm, no. This was a con out of my money (much like a Grifter, so they ain't lying!). I dumped this one down the drain, wasn't even going to attempt ruining a recipe with this one!

New Belgium Mothership Wit

New Belgium (part of the Folly Pack) Mothership Wit...yet another Blue Moon taste alike...I liked it...easy to drink and very familiar!

New Belgium Ranger India Pale Ale

New Belgium Ranger India Pale Ale...same *almost* citrus/grapefruit bitter quality as my beloved Widmer trio of Citra Blond/Rotator/Drifter...but not quite. Still, I didn't dislike it, and I thank Lori Holmes for introducing me to this! I enjoyed it more after I squeezed a lemon into it :)

Ninkasi Radiant Ale

Found another Ninkasi - Seasonal Release Radiant Ale...after every single one I've tried previously has literally left a bitter taste in my mouth (really trying to understand this whole "bitter beer" obsession that people have since they make so many!)...this was the first one I could actually make it through. Which was a feat considering it's a big one! It was okay. But just that, according to my lager loving tastebuds!

Sierra Nevada "Torpedo" Extra IPA

Sierra Nevada "Torpedo" Extra IPA. Still trying to figure out why I'm smiling in this picture. This had a very pine based bitter note as the description promises...and I know I bought it because Pliny the Elder Russian River Brewing Company was listed as the #1 local brew on another beer blog site. It had the same characteristics noted as this #1 brew, and I really TRIED to liken it to the same bitter notes (citrus/grapefruit) as Widmer's Rotator but it fell flat. I even tried to squeeze a bit of lemon into it to make it more citrus, but alas...it was just bitter to me. My tongue is just not meant to love the bitter brews. So sad :(

Deschutes Brewery Cascade Ale

Deschutes Brewery Cascade Ale...a nice beverage without any over powering bitterness. I'd definitely buy it again!

Lindeman's Kriek Lambic

Kriek Lambic...a Black Cherry version of their fruit based brews. I saved this one for last since I love cherries, but it wasn't any better than the others. Not to say I didn't enjoy it, because I DID, but they all had a lovely lip puckering tartness that made them equally pleasant to sip on!

Lindeman's Pomme Lambic

Lindeman's Pomme Lambic...the APPLE version of the fruity brews. Kind of like a cider, but less harsh. Definitely a tart sipper for a hot summer evening.

Goose Island "Sofie" Belgian Style Ale

Goose Island "Sofie" Belgian Style Ale....another overpriced Blue Mood imposter! Seriously! How many brews are going to taste like Blue Moon? I really don't know who first came out with the "brewed with coriander and citrus notes" Belgian Ale...but it seems like ever other beer brand has their version. But does it really need to be $10 a bottle? Good, but not THAT good!

Leinenkugels Red Lager

After the last offering of Leinenliugel's last offering I tried (the Summer Shandy) I was a bit afraid to try another. Good thing my husband bought this one without my knowledge otherwise I might have missed it! This Red Lager was nice!

Eel River Brewing Company Organic Amber Ale

Eel River Brewing Company Organic Amber Ale. It was alright I suppose. I think if I remember correctly, it had a bit of sweetness to it, which I am not exactly a fan of in my beers. But if you're a healthnut and must have organic, go for it!

Widmer Bothers Reserve Barrek Aged Brrrbon

Widmer Reserve...Barrel Aged Brrrbon. It was VERY strong, and after a few sips I corked it for later use. I might use it to make homemade pizza crust. A more "mature" palate might enjoy sipping on this hefty brew. I'm pretty sure I got a hangover just from the few sips I took! 9.4% ABV!

Lindeman's Cassis Lambic

Cassis Lambic...Lindeman's "black currant" brew. It was good! I think I am in love with these lower calorie fruity brews! How absolutely GIRLY of me! What'd you expect???

Bridgeport Blue Heron Pale Ale

Bridgeport Blue Heron Pale Ale. I didn't DISLIKE this, but it wasn't my favorite either. If I was served this at a party, I would drink it without complaint, but probably wouldn't buy it again. It was okay.

Lindemans Peche Lambic

I FOUND the other flavors! This is the Peche Lambic and WHOA was it tart! But good!

Bud Ice

Bud Ice. Yuck. It has a higher alcohol content (which I don't particularly prefer brews with high alcohol content) and had a very strange metallic taste.

Rolling Rock Extra Pale

Rolling Rock, another old time favorite I figured I owed a recent tasting. I could without hesitation, add this to my  regular  purchases of stand-byes.

Bud Light Lime

Bud Light lime...I am not complaining. Very refreshing and easy to drink.
